    Duplicating animated gif in flash

For starters, I am a complete flash newbie. I am very capable in Photoshop and working with advanced JS/CSS/XHTML etc.

I've just recently purchased Flash MX and I'm having a hard time figuring out how I can replicate the animated gif in flash located on this page:

    www.publishare.com

Basically, that animated gif is a few PSD layers with some tweening going on.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial that will guide me in creating something similar in flash?

Sorry to disappoint you, but this animation has nothing to do with PSD. It's a twining animation, from alpha 0% to alpha 100%. You should first read the tutorials in the biginners section, to understand better how Flash works.

    See the tutorials here.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I didn't mean something similar in terms of technique - just in terms of achieving a similar end result.

I'll definitely check out those tutorials.
