Load and Save files from standalone

I am currently using Flash 5 to create a standalone program on my computer. I would like to know if there is any way possible to save and load actionscript files with only the variables and arrays that I want, ie usernames and passwords. I have tried using the FS Command where I put "save" in the command field and "users.as" in the arugment field. The only problem I am having is that all other variables/arrays that were triggered or changed before activating the script with the save command, is saved in the file. Is there any way to just save the two arrays and exclude every other variable/arrays?

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

Hi, download a copy of Flash Studio PRO and you can use the FSCommand flashstudio.savetofile to save specific variables to a file of your choice. I hope this helps!

You can also use JSave to write to an actionscript file.
