    blue collar and white collar ?

    hello people hope this question is not too trivial
    see me and my collegue at work are aguing on the meaning of white collars people and blue collars

    since english is not my native language i would like to know the right definition for this two terms

    blue collar = manual labor. i.e. warehouse worker, ditch digger diesel mechanic

    white collar = non manual labor, Office assitant, doctor, lawyer, web designer.

    brown collar = unemployed, hasn't washed shirt, sweaty from looking for an unsatisfying job in todays piss poor job market.









    no collar = too rich to be put in any category, financially out of touch with the common man.
