why is this doing this in fireworks

Just started with Fireworks, and I made a simple box and filled it with a color and tried to add a texture fill in it. The texture fill are coming in, but in the editor the texure fills are distorted as you can see in the below picture...

Now when I go to preview it in the broswer, it shows up fine... as you can see in the below pic...

I don't know what i need to set in editor, but its hard to work when the image is being distorted. Is there something i need to set/reset to make the editor pic look as it should...

i guess its fitting the image into the square and possibly squishing it so it fits in there, thats why it distorts

if its not that they do let us know what it is, someone else may have the same problem
