    I figured it out, kind of hard to explain but it ain't magic... See some of the symbols repeat...

    Well there are only certain number that come up...<-- pretty much this doesn't make sense but heres an example...

    you picked number 72:7+2=9 now we sub. 72-9=63
    you picked number 73:7+3=10 now we sub. 73-10=63
    you picked number 42:4+2=6 now we sub. 42-6=36
    you picked number 10:1+0=1 now we sub. 10-1=9

    Hmmm... Look at all the number answer symbols, they are all the same...

    The author, when you press replay made the symbols change by each number so that the same symbol doesn't stand by the same numbers all the time tricking you...

    Hey, if I duplicated this effect would I be ripping him off?

    I want to make something similar to this(diff symbols, scenery) and put it on my site... I mean I figured it out...

    It is hard to explain... so true, so true...

    if you can make a thing, that has only two symbols, and which ever simble the user chooses comes up, we will call you a majician

    Really
    i mean
    ok i belive that
    yes
    a lot of numbers can result the same, but again, how will you know which number the guy is guessing right now ?

    Hey, if I duplicated this effect would I be ripping him off?

    The picked number will be (a*10+b);
    So, the result of (a*10+b)-(a+b) will be 9*a;

    Just make 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81 the same symbol. Then it will cover all the result.

    If we are going to make a similar site, it would be fair if we create our formula.

    For example, pick two digits.
    Guess the result of (a*a-a*b)+(b*b-a*b),

    The result will always be (a-b)*(a-b);

    So, make 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81 with the same symbol, then we will cover all the result.

    I beg to differ with all your formulas, even thou I am sure there is one. What I did was take each number from the top and did the add/subtract thing and then looked at the resulting number. I went down the list and it got it right every time.

    Remember you are not entering any thing for the SWF moie to work with other than just click on the crystal ball.

    There is something else going on here and I am sure it is not magic.

    I just haven't figured it out yet. Remember beer hall/tavern games are always simple but not obvious.

    THere is no formula.......

    Look at the number nine each time you click on the crystal ball what ever symbol is at the number nine will be on the ball. Now all you have to do is use the math for all the numbers and make sure what ever show up on nine shows on those numbers also. Next make ever time you click on try again you change the symbol on the number nine and it will look like whatever you chose the SWF guessed the right one. The secret here is that the player doen't notice the symbols changing ever time you click on try again.

    No super formula here just slight of hand as it were....

    Well
    that was easy
    but this one seems impossible....

    http://www.readyourmind.net/

    www.digicc.com/fido/ (obviously its a calculation, but seems impossible, 4 digit numbers...)

    the first one is simply.......
    asks you to make to clicks... any idea..

    he he, so i am putting you guys in puzzeles :d

    The first one is simple - completely different cards come up the second time around so yours is definitely missing. We'll sort the other one after lunch.

    The second one:

    The nubmer resulted from substraction of original number and the jumbled number will always be dividable by 9;

    For a number dividable by 9, after getting jumbled, it is still dividable by 9;

    So, in the final stage, if we enter 65, then we try to figure out what number as 65? will be dividable by 9.

    OK, 650%9 is 2, So, we know 657 is dividable by 9; The answer is 7;

    If final stage we enter 123, then we check 1230%9 to get 6; So we know 1233 is dividable by 9; The anser is 3;

    This is a very complex and clever Math formula.
