A quick way would be to create the text then give it a bevel filter.
Save a copy of the file flattened. (JPEG or TIF)
Then use transform/distort and give the illusion of perspective by shrinking one side of the graphic. Since the piece is flattened the bevel will appear to be distorted too giving the illusion of 3-D through perspective.
Try Xara 3D - designed for rotating text, and very cheap and easy to use. Produces animated GIFs. You will need some sort of font manipulation program (eg Fontographer) if you want to include the star thing as well.
Some info in the site about other products like WebStyle, but I think you need Xara 3D if I understand you correctly. It's available as a trial download too...
well, i checked the site of this product and i was really disapointed.
the product got low functionality, low resources and template (u can get mose of it at the net), and there's no any amazing FX at all...
this programs got some low designed templates that look like most of the "My Family Home page" site...
it can be a good crismess present from grandmother to her 9 years old grand dougther that want to make her first site...
My oh my. You really are *determined* not to listen, aren't you? Despite me pointing you to the actual download page for Xara 3D, you still seem to be talking about Webstyle, which is a different program!
