Beginner need help
i'm new to this site and new to developing flash.
please could someone tell me how to convert files to use in flash once i've downloaded movies from this site.

You dont have to convert Flash files ( .fla and .swf ). However the files may have been Zipped and you need Zip to open it up. Zip is used to compress files.
If you are on Mac Stuffit Expander can unzip the files ( you can also get ZipIt for mac ). Also if you are on Mac, downloaded files may not have the resource fork so they appear withou the Flash symbol so you cant doubleclick on them to oen them in Flash. But you can often open them from within Flash.
