Flash for TV and FPS
I am doing a flash for tv project. I am doing it in 30 frames per second. As a result, I am making ever transition 30 frames, because it will take one second for it to make a transition while on video that is being viewed on tv.
But these transitions look so slow on my Mac.
Does the frame rate look faster after being exported for tv?
It would be a disaster if I had to do the frames over again.
Thanks

Make sure you deinterlace the frames and use a lower frame count - like 15 fps on your conversion. Mac is the slowest Flash player, especially those on Classic.

HELP PANIC!
What do you mean by deinterlace the frames and why should I use a lower frame count?
Now I am really confused. I appreciate your feedback, but I am at a loss!
This thing is done tomorrow. OH NO!

I'm sorry, I just realised you are going to TV with this. Get it into the video format (for broadcast) before you worry about the playback speed.
You'll still want to use 30 fps - don't worry about the interlacing.

Am I correct to say that any deinterlacing will be done within the video editing system I export it to? In other words, if I export my flash to quick time, then import it into after effects, that is where I do the deinterlacing?
Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Hi.
De-interlacing is done in video (Flash doesn't interlace frames).
