importing MPEG video into Flash MX

When I try to import MPEG video into Flash MX (not MX2004) I receive an error stating that Flash does not recognize the file format. I have tried several MPEG files and none will import. I have DirectX 8 so according to the Help file in Flash I should be able to import MPEG video. What is going on?

Flash doesnt like your mpeg. you gotta respect. use virtual dub > render your movie out as huffy compressed avi > import into flazh. I have guide if you need it. gimme a doller
