Jpeg to GIF

Is there a short-cut to change a jpeg image to a gif image using photoshop 7? I'm using the erasing tool all the time and it's rather time consuming. Anyone knows any short-cuts?

Hi

go to file > export > gif export (pshp 5.5)

or save for the web i think it is in 7 (i'm bad still running 5.5)

no doubt i will be corrected if wrong

ps u could record it as an action as well if you have hundreds of them to do

eg in actions set to record (when image is open) save as > (or export) .gif > close

1. Open the file

2. click "File"
3. click "Save for Web"

(U can set different things up here, like pick a certain color to be transparent, amount of colors... etc.)

4. click "Save"

and you're done!
