    Simple... yet powerfull!

Choosing red as the main hue really did alot for the "message" of the image.

    I LOVE IT!

Now that I like. Dark, clear, mean, lots of feeling, and good use of type too. Very nice work pointguard.

hybrid, i like the image, lovin the sharp feel. I think you had more material to work with than to just take the image resize it and paste on top of something else. Get those creative gears workin'!

zacaboo, you didnt spend much time on this did you? all you did was zoom into the previous volley and blur it so the pixels wont make it look ugly, changed the colors a bit and added a line of text. Try playing with the shapes, blending modes, maybe work on some photo manipulation. You can do better.

It's funny because I actually spent about 8 hours and tens of layers to make it. It did get cloudy at the end and my intent wasn't to hide any ugliness. I stretched it as a method to get rid of his text and to make it slightly different and not as parallel. Then I wanted to play off of his gorgeous texture and it's detail by blurring out some peripheral while focusing on one sharp aspect of his texture. You're right though I should have rethought it all together and started fresh. Oh well, it was more about the process for me I guess. THanks for the input Kaco =)

Where can I get good stock photos? I know it's been asked and answered somewhere else here but I searched and didn't really get what I wanted. Thanks.

    Agreed...
I like the contrast you added to my image with the blue, but I thought I'd left quite a lot to work with from my last image.

    Nice though!
