    authoring cross platform cd roms

    Hi there,

Could someone please tell me how would one go about making/authoring a cd-rom that would automatically load/run at full screen size (no crappy title bars in view) when placed in a cd-drive of any computer, PC or Mac.
i'm gonna design it in flash but if needs be i will embed it into director (will this affect the interaction in any way?)

    thanks very much

    michael

Check out the standalone forum FAQ, that's a good place to start:

Flash is made to work in a browser or as a standalone. When embedded in Director it will perform actions get URLs and thing like that very well ( afaik ).

And the fullscreen has to be set in Director. As for Autostart from cd , check the forum for these things, Standalone & Applications.

Then you looked the wrong way =)

Auto run for mac is usually made when you burn the CD. Easiest if you burn the cd on a Mac ( Toast can set the default autorun file ).
It can be done from a PC too , but I dont remember the post that showed how to.
