    CD Project to BIG!

    Has anyone else encountered this problem. I created a application that when published goes about 50MB. I burned it to disc along with my other files and when I load it into a cd drive to test it take for ever to launch due to the size of my exe file. So far I've tried:
    - launching another exe file that simply loads my true app as a swf with the hope of it streaming.
    - looked into preloaders but I think they only work on the web

    Any suggestions?

    After reading this, I now make a CD just like I would a flash website. A small main interface movie as the exe, and it loads externals swf's using loadMovie. Works great and it's fast.

    Thanks but its too late for me to do this as this cd has been in progress for a few months. My last resort is to run it through installshield and have people install it to their harddrive.
