    gradient looks horrid

    why does this look so bad?
    it was saved on maximum jpeg

    which bit dont u like ?

    the image looks good and the grey looks fine to me, the top of the 'photo' looks a bit odd is that what u are having problems with ?

    the fade on the corner doesnt look smooth. i see lines all throughout it

    looks fine to me, one thing you could do is have the gradients on new layers and once created (using foreground to transparent) move them about and or scale them, or use a big soft edged brush and rub bits out

    nice image btw

    i dont see any banding of lines

    what colour settings are u running at ?

    the new one looks darker but still no banding (lines)

    you could try looking at this thread on a friends computer, just email the post details and visit

    i had an old machine a few years ago when it crashed it would re-set the video settings to 16 bit mb that could be it...

    Can you see these, BP? I took the image and adjusted the levels to make them more obvious. Could just be a matter of how you have your monitor calibrated.



    What program are you using to save this? If you are using Photoshop you might try locking the transparency of the layer then applying either a Guassian Blur, or Motion Blur with the direction pointing at the lower left and upper right corners. You might be able to even that out a little bit.

    Hi RUSH.. i can see those (not good) the originals looks super smooth on mine, mb its the top notch 3d graphics card (secret games player)

    can we get some more feedback from other ppl ?

    does the gradient in the first 2 images look banded ? (stripey)

    what setting do you have your monitor at? 32 bit colour? THat might be the problem - it looks fine to me.
