A designer posted this in the Site Check forum, and I like this site so much I thought it was worthy of Cool Sites:

I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

Yeah one of the reasons I liked it so much - it is so original.

Best navigation I've seen in a long time. I *really* like the orbitting spheres.

The only thing that's kinda odd/missing is that in the right frame, you can mouse-over to get summaries on some of the spheres, but not all....

    Great, though.

Ultima Designs, thank you for posting me!!!

Thank you for the nice compliments.

Currently only the current 'sub' nav elements have rollover text but I will try and add it for the main nav section spheres as well.

That's awfully good, tons of detail if you look for it. I'm not fond of the way the rollovers hide the word on the button, but it's a sharp rollover just the same.

sintech, I thought I fixed the script error last night. Can you please tell me if you are still getting one and if so where?

Thank you for helping with the debug process.

I also got a script error.
The bug appeared right when the interface had loaded and I tried to click the largest blue sphere.

    P4 2.5Ghz, 512Mb, XP Pro, IE 6, Flash Player 7.

    Like the initial look though!

I also got a script error.
flipsideguy, I finally found it but I do not have the files here at work to fix it. I will take care of it tonight, as well as a few tweaks to the overall orbiting function and hopefully all should be good.

Thank you all again, I would not have been able to get the site this far if it wasn't for all of the debug help I have received.

    Best,

    Ash

Hate to revive old threads, but this site won a FWA award. Congratulations, Ashley!
