    Layer related question, thanks guys.

Hi guys, okay, ...I have a picture of a reflective object like a chrome or glass door but besides the reflective surface, the door has metal strips going up and down and they are not reflective at all. I want to animate a reflection in the doors surface but I'm not sure how I can exclude the portions where the non reflective metal strips are. And the strips are not smooth shaped, they are twisting. How would I sepparate the strips from the reflective surface so I can put them on a different layer on top and animate under them? Thanks a million in advance guys!!!

    Out There...
You'll need to work with masks. Check the tutorial section here for a lot of help with that.

Here's just one to get you started.
