I'm trying to create a cool zoom effect, with a 3d

I have a main page with a bunch of images of different people. When you click a person, I want to zoom in on that person, and have the other people fly off as if they are on different layers.........so that it looks a bit 3d.

Is there any examples of this, and or flas, and or secrets to making this a believable effect?

    Thanks,

    hmmm...

well, there are a few ways you could go about doing that:

    1) You could create different versions of the images in a seperate image editing program (Photoshop, for example), and apply some 3D distortions, import them into Flash, and have the images fade in / fade out over each other, so that it appears to be changing size / perspective.

    2) You could just tween the images to increase in size as the user hovers their cursor over them, and apply some drop shadow effects and lighting effects and such.

    3) You could resort to a 3D app and create some 3D vids of your images, and then transform them into swf to import into Flash.

Just a few ideas, I'm sure you could go about it a dozen other ways. Good Luck.
