I really couldn't decide between Simpsons, FG or Futurama; if they started running all three back to back, I'd never leave my house. South Park I haven't seen it a while, but given the choice between any of the first three or it, I'd go with the first group.

I have to take exception to that, PAlexC. The beauty of KOH is that the characters are so entrapped in their own little world that situations and events that most of us wouldn't bat an eyelash cause them to go into fits; it's a wonderful play on all sorts of sterotypes and value systems.

I think it really says something about the writing and characters that it could be done by live actors; they don't need to have Hank get his head caught in an automatic door or freeze anyone in carbonite to make the show funny.

And you don't find Dale or Bill funny?! What's wrong with you man?

Shows have been cancelled and picked up before. This would be the first time a show was picked up by the same network that cancelled it, though.

That is a pretty good assessment of the show. I definitely think it is a "niche" type of humor..It is very very dry and at first the show does seem very boring and not funny. I felt the exact same way the first 10 or so times I watched it...but when you finally understand the characters ( not saying you dont understand them like you are stupid--but rather get to know the characters) you start seeing how funny it is....Alot of the humor is so unfunny that it is hilarious.

Last I heard, they haven't decided where FG would land. It's still up in the air.

    Family Guy - hands down.
I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

The simpsons hands down, good for all audiences as well. Jokes at different levels, jokes most people can get but some unique to certain areas/professions etc.

Family guy is so random and hilarious though.. but still can't beat the family guys.

Ok so that was a bad joke

South Park is good, but not quite as funny, i dont sit there in front of my tv and drool cause im laughing so hard every time i watch it.

The Simpsons have gone downhill.. I used to LOVE watching the new ones Sunday nights, anxiously awaiting them actually. Now I barely watch Simpsons at all.

Family Guy - hands down. Love my dvd sets

Yeah, but it has been redone a bunch of times (like the Transformers).

I used to have the original metal die-cast toys when I was a kid, before they decided giving a child a 5-pound lump of lead to play with was a bad idea.
