do you use a contract?
do any pro's out there have a letter or contract that they have found covered them as needed, that they would like to share? i bet a lot of flash kit flashers could use something like that...
background:
i just got "the call," and the job is mine. i'm being subcontracted to build a flash site for the client of a design firm.
it is a programming, motion and transition gig. they are providing the design, images and copy and i put it all together. the budget is under $10,000.
or, have any of you found instead of a legal contract per-se, a letter has sufficed? one that outlines the expectations form them, deliverables on your part, what will cost extra and a rate for extras and changes?
any suggestions or contract/letter samples would be appreciated.
thanks a lot,

always use a contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's the contract I normally use, just replace your details where applicable. It's written for use in the UK though so if you're not operating in the UK, some of the small print might not be applicable to your country but it's a start

www.scottmanning.com has a great one.
but if you plan to use this to make good money, you definately need to get a lawyer to draft you one. it will cost a couple hundred but it is money well spent.
[edit] fixed the link guess i was typing too fast.
