Am I in the right section?

Is this the right way to go about things?

I am looking at creating a video clip scheduler. Basically using a calendar I can schedule animations or video clips to be displayed at certain times and dates say over a month.

Each week/month I can create a series of animations/presentations that can be displayed. As each hour/day/week passes the calender will change the visual that is playing to the next one I have lined up, automatically.

Is there anything close to this, coz even if there’s stuff close, I could work around it. The main feature is scheduling. I do believe that there’s kiosk software, but I have not located any.

    Hiya

I haven't done that, but I'm more than sure it's possible. You can use the Date() object to schedule tasks. If you stick to a filename convention, like anim1, anim2 etc., you can code your movie to load a certain sw file when the date clicks round.

As far as kiosk software is concerned, Macromedia Composer is good, if you got the dosh.
