    New Portfolio Prototype

This is my new portfolio prototype site. It's different cause the flash is layered over the html. Anyway, when you start the site up, it's got a heifty content MC to load beacuse i wanted to test the accuracy of the preloader. Probly won't like the song, i made the movie bigger by putting a music clip in there, no way to turn it off yet. And yes, the coming soon text is blurry cause i had it off by like .2 pixels, so bleh. Not really close to finishing it at all, but this is what i got so far. Sorry to post 2 site check topics in one day, but i just finished this and was excited about it. Comments and Criticizm Appreciated. Thanx.

You didn't have to put quite such a large file in to check the pre-loader did you? lol..... and yep, the song sucks big time.

The graphic work looks nice to me.

    updating

OK, I did a little bit of updating and took the unusally long wait out of the loading time. I got the bare bones of the site worked out and am now just working on content. None of the links work at the moment, but soon will as I get content loaded into it. C&C would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Also: I have only tested this out on a Windows Based system in IE 5.5 and Higher. Any MAC users or netscape users please comment on how the flash and html layering turned out. The start site link on the first section should be right under the horizonal bar almost all the way to the left. If it is unaligned, please inform. Thank you very much.

As no-one else does, a few small comments:
The text is so small I don't even bother to try and read it.
The mouse-overs on the photographs are nice, but the flikkering arrow takes away the peace and quiet. None of the photographs load, or is that yust me?

The photos open up in a new window with javascript. They should work. If they do not please inform me on what browser you are using and OS, thanks. Yes the text is tiny, I am fixing it as we speak. I just wanted to use that font to the max, because I payed for it, lol.
Thank you VERY much for responding. One Question, did the flash line up correctly over the html for you? If not, please inform to which browser and OS you are using, thank you.

    Using latest versions of:
    IE
    Mozilla
    Firebird
    Firefox
    Opera
    w/ Windows XP

Works fine here. Yea, the font is rather
tiny. But at least it's a pixel font, so
that's fine. You might want to add sort of
transition to the border of the content
box (instead of just having the content
fade in). Some sort of stretching or
    spinning may work.
I'll be looking forward to your final product.

    cheers,

Even though it is a pixel font, it is incredibly hard to read.

no pop-up killers, even with the firewall off no popups appear.
    Win 2000
Text is still very hard to read.

Hehe, a "F5" solved it now.
Hmm, it seems to react on the firewall, sorry. No pop-up-option in that firewall, but that is the problem.
