    Preview Window

When I look at the list of my SWF files..... (OS 10.3)... (MX)... I can see, sometimes, a preview window on the next column... a little window showing the animation contained in the file... (which I quite like)

... but, with other SWF files, sometimes all I get is a blue F logo.

Why doesn't the pre-viewer work with ALL the SWF files???

Because the preview is generated by Quicktime, which is only Flash 5 compatible. If your files contain MX actionscript or are MX compressed; quicktime can't display them.

Ah, that's Bad Bob from Rex the Runt; an animated series off the BBC.
It's done by Aardman Animation; the same people who did Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit etc.

You can see lots of them free at www.atomfilms.com

I think the other one you're talking about is asheep_uk's avatar; that's Vince from the same series.
