button movie

Hey guys,
I created a button. On a mouseover it moves upward. Simple. But what I want to do is when the mouse comes off of the button, the button slowly goes back down and no quick snapping actions. Can someone help me out? Thanks for your help.

Use a on rollout action and have it play a bit of a movie clip that slowly moves it back to where it was. Let me know if you need more explaining then that.

hey man,
if the "on rollout" action is the same thing as "on clip event" then i can only get it to work in the button edit menu and i dont know where to go from there

mr ant, check out this attachment...it should help.

this get's asked all the time - it's easy to make a button do something on rollover. but you can't just stick an animation in the button symbol for a rollout. you need to use a different strategy.

alright, i found the on rollout action
but when i try to have the on rollover and on rollout actions at the same time, only the rollover action works

Sorry, but after looking it over, a lot, i dont know how to do it still

here is my fla if someone can do it for me, or show me how
- im trying to get the two half moon shapes to move upward on a rollover and move back inward on a rollout
