Score editor
Anyone know of any good (preferably free) programs that you can write your own music scores, and it will check it for you (ie., enough beats per measure, etc.)? Thanks!

The only free notation software that I really liked wasn't even
notation,,,,It was Tablature. Power Tab Editor
I don't have a clue on where to find it now.
You might want to try http://hitsquad.com
pop-ups like mad but they have the largest listings of music
related software on the net.
http://midifarm.com has pretty much cleaned out there freeware
and only caters to shareware.

I only really need it for one quick piece I'm writing, so shareware could work - thanks for the links.
