controling a flash movie from another one in a diff. HTML frame?

    Hello,

does any one know if I can control a flash movie, from another flash movie in another HTML frame. Or how about controling one flash movie from another one on the same HTML page (but they are not related). How? Any tutorials?

    Thanks in advance

Just like the first one, but the second one is just as amazing. I just downloaded the files. Will take a look, and let you know if I get it to work.

    Thanks as always.

    oldnewbie something bizarre is happening

I downloaded your code and it worked like a charm.....on my machine. But when I uploaded it to the server, one of the pictures that is supposed to load doesn't. To see how I used your technique, click the link below

    ***deleted***

the middle box is supposed to load a picture controlled by the bottom left menu, but for the home page it does not work (on line). Click portfolio or Contact Us to see it work. Again the home's picture doesn't load, but only online. When I test it on my computer, it works fine.

Any idea what this can be?

OK I figured out why the rest weren't working. I had another browser with the page opened, and the pictures where changing on the other page (which is not good), but anyway the home's picture is still a mistery

If your talking about the flipped "borrowed" picture from 2advanced, it appears fine for me?

actually, I found the mistake. About the picture I got it from a stock photography site, but I'm going to change it becuase I'm sure everybody will say the exact same thing.

side note: The original picture is actually in that direction. 2A flipped it when they used it.

thank for looking into this. Next time you log on it will have a different picture.

Most probably easier, since all is in the same html page... No need to point to another html.

    and here's the other one...

I just want to use the same mail form but I want the title to change given what's clicked on the left. Do you see what I'm trying to do?

I would have to check this out. That was really my first try at localconnection, only used Flash methods before that...

Or you could have a look at...

    And sort this out yourself!

these two separte files will be in the same HTML file but inside diffrent cells of a table. When web department is clicked I want the title on the right (which is a movie) to change accordingly.

Is this a mess or what???

Ok! Sorry, just saw that you posted some .flas.
Will have a look, but hope they're not in MX2004 format, otherwise I won't be able to open them.

    Later!
