device font won't show !!!

I have a MC under mask. In that MC I want to place a text that is Device font (Arial). But! When Use Device Font is checked the text is NOT showing. When is unchecked it's fine. But I want that crisp and sharp look of my text wich is best done with use of Device font.
Is it the mask that's making the problem?

Yes, masks need the font outlines to be embedded to show the text. You can use pixelfonts though. They remain crisp.

Well... I'm not sure what you are saying. It's a static text. How can I embed a static text? And what is embedding anyway?
Yes, pixel font look crispy but not as device font.
Can you please post detailed instruction about this?
I would like to use Device Font anyway.

Device fonts can not be embedded, thats the point of them.
To embed a font you ensure that the users see the exact font you use ( the outlines of the font are included in the Flash file ).
To do so, select the textfield and click the CHARACTER button (MX ) in the property panel and choose what characters you want included.
