whatever that was didnt even move! Anyway i have to go now sorry. But if you go to www.rugbyfives.cjb.net that is a website i did ages ago, the whole intro is made with motion tweens, hope it helps, c ya!
What it looks like you have done in your initial flash is redraw your scene for every frame. Now, rather than doing that, draw your first frame, then, click on insert new keyframe (F6) in frame number 2, this copies the first frame so you dont have to start from scratch. Now, instead of just completely switching the position, create a gradual change in your motion. Then repeat the process, F6 in frame 3, gradual change, F6 in fram 4, gradual change. This causes your file to be less jumpy. If you want to go for the use of motion or shape tweens, then you wont end up having as much versatility for what you are doing because of the fact that it will convert your bitmap into an editable instance. So that on every frame you would have the same instance, and if you edit the one, it edits them all.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Ill make an example later and post it if you're still confused.
Dude, you posted something you created in Fireworks, which is the .png extension. If you try to create an animated gif in that program you have to set different numbers of frames and export it as an animated gif.
Here was the test I told you about earlier, the guy on the left is using the method you used, and on the right side, is a guy with more frames, and a few motion tweens.
