I think the typography is a glaring issue on the 501 site. Weird theme, I don't get the marketing sense behind it. Reborn? A one hundred and fifty year old product? Struck me as odd, and perhaps desperate.

what I really don't get about the Levis 501 site, is what is with the list of countries you choose from at the beginning?? Other than a few like australia, japan and new zealand, I almost feel like I'm choosing which Levis sweatshop location I want to visit.
Or is this site only targetted towards an asian/pacific audience. If so, the could have fooled me with the fact that regardless of the country you pick you still get the same english site...
