How to create a drop-down nav button?

I've built many Flash mx buttons prior to this, but never a nav
button with a drop - down. What are the steps involved in this?
I would like a suble ease-out and fade in fore the drop down
as the mouse goes over the main button...

Well, you'll have to work out the easing and fading bits, but this is a basic example that could be adapted...

Pick this apart, it's very dynamic so the script may look a bit heavy but you can add and remove buttons via the arrays.
