    Opening a Flash MX file

I'm working on a design with another Flash designer...he's out of town and cannot be reached.

When I go to open the FLA file, it reads: "Seek failed on _______ (the path, whether on zip drive, harddrive, etc... Example: Seek failed on E:\example.fla)

Can anyone tell me why I cannot open this file? I'm using Flash MX, not the latest version yet...
    Thanks,
    R

    Here's a link to what I get: www.mrpt.com/flash

Possibly lack of disk space.. or file protected. ??
If someone tells you it can't be done,
it's probally because they don't know how.

Don't mean to nit pick ....

Well, you're half the way there.

The word "probally" is not in the English language.

Oh yeah, you had a problem, right?

I've never heard of it before.
Either of mave's ideas could be correct.
It might also have to do with the version of Flash you and your partner are using. I don't believe MX2004 FLAs can be opened by MX, for example.
