    Please help with downbload question

I was using a .zip extension on a link so that when a user clicked on it a pop up box would come up saying click here to save to disk. At first it wasnt working at all but then i tried it on another computer and what it did was auto open the .zip in windows imaging. What would i need to do to create a link that would prmpt teh user to be able to download the file to their hardrive?

really really in need of a positive answer

im really in need of a positive answer. Is there a way that i can have the box come up and prompt the user if they want them to save the file to there hardrvie if everything is on the cd. I have tried the above mentioned but what it does is when you click on the file it opens up the zip file so you see the tiff it never p rompts them to save the file. is there a way this can be done?
