Its cool, a few suggestions No-tec:
Dont like the music (thats personal) and the sound is poor.
When opening a new page (like portfolio or feat. site) maybe stoping the music would be better.
And check the loading numbers on the pop-up (after clicking the sections), looks bad here.
Nice one man, keep it up.

    Love the navigation, Reall sweet

I dont really care for the cheesy paper sounds when they come up..
Not to much movement, and the cracker.... really is just a cool splash page a part from his site..

The splash really doesn't connect with the site. When I saw the splash I had a totally different idea of what the site would be like.

Navigation is good and the animation is smooth. Nothing really special but it is a solid site.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid

i thought that too after visiting it, but it is a pretty cool splash nonetheless.

no-tec, i remember when you first posted this in the site check board. you have taken your original version of your site and given it a new look, but also stayed with the same style. i like it and think you did an excellent job.

look forward to seeing more of your work

haha sweet. thanks everyone. i appreciate the post as well as the comments.
the splash; I got the idea for the shot from a song lyric "...lookin' at me like I'm just another square saltine.". get it?
I never got to the preloader animations and I'm still stumped on what to do. So right now it's just there. I also had plans for the music, so maybe I can have it fade out at the page transitions. thanks for that idea.

    popups rox!
    maybe.

Funny how similarities rear up out of nowhere. This is a website for a Seattle band from, like, two years ago...Telephone poles, torn notebook paper...

    Heartbeat Clock

Similar, but certainly different. no-tec is obviously more professional and sleeker. I'm simply mentioning the visuals. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw no-tec. Not to antagonize or cause a stir, just thought I'd mention it.

    Are you joking? Or serious?

I guess "I" dont see it...can you explain or give some examples of where you thought you saw "similarities"?

    Thanks

C'mon, now. One made me think of the other. That's all, a simple association. How often do you find telephone poles and torn notebook paper together? Let alone on two very different sites? I suppose I could Google it, but gee whiz, it wasn't a big whoop, or a joke, Whispers, or a punchline, Mosez. Just an observation. I thought that this was the place to make observations about the sites that are posted. And if this is a member site, shouldn't it be in the member sites board, not the cool sites, regardless how cool it is?

I'm sorry, no-tec, I didn't mean to cause a fuss. As I stated before, it's just what I thought of when I saw it. It's a fine piece of work. I like your style. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

    Whispers and Mosez, I apologize.
