Thread: change cursor in Flash 4

    Is there a way to change the cursor to a different image? I know there is a plug-in for windows, but I am using a Mac. Any thoughts?

    Not, I believe in Flash 4. Flash 5 however does it quite handily...or so I am told...being still on Flash 4 myself.

    Changing the cursor

    The best you can do in Flash 4 is have a symbol follow the mouse, Flashkit has numerous tutorials, and FLAs about this. You can how ever not do anything about the cursor.

    In flash 5 the principle is the same, you have a symbol track the mouse, but you are able to hide the current windows cursor. So in fact you do not change the cursor you only make it appear like you did.

    Once again reffer to the Flashkit tutorials for an example
