Google Clique..... The idea that went wrong

The case centers around a program called "Google Clique," which was allegedly written by 32-year-old Michael Anthony Bradley to surf and click on Web ads displayed by the Google AdSense program.
    The Story

    Nice

If i were him, i would have just used it without trying to blackmail google, or just sell it on the Internet....... silly man.

He should've put a line of code in there, a boolean, that would terminate all progress done by the program on an external command. Then, 'accidentally' release it on Kazaa as complete freeware, with a bogus name for the creator. When spammers start using it, develop software that would terminate that progress by simply turning off the boolean, selling it to google as a 'cure' for their doom. Voila, no trouble with the law, 100 phat g's in your pocketses.
