How the hell are they going to make a film out of that lol.

nahh it'll be great - maybe.

I couldn't see much content, but i suppose the design is quite nice.

    it will rock

they have been trying to make this film since the early 90's it just never got off the ground. The comic book has been around for ages. And they even hinted at Aliens V Predator in predator 2 at the end on the predator's ship there are skulls of trophy kills, one of them was an alien(from the movie aliens) skull. So it's not such a far fetched idea to do a movie of both of them. Hey Freddy versus
    Jason rocked, why not this?

Nifty effects, but aestheticly speaking, it's too cluttered for my taste.

yeah, the effects by themeselves are nice (love that vector thing), but the way it all came together, doesn't still well for me. i find this with a lot of sci fi movie sites, where they try to mimic the tech interfaces, stick tons of medium quality photos everwhere, put some mettalic textures here and there, bust out the lens flare glows, and use really cheesy sci fi fonts. but this one was better than most in comparison.

Which web firms get to do all these movie sites anyway?

But the design was so predictable. I much prefer the sites for Donnie Darko and The Dreamers (Bertolucci).
And now I/Foam to wheat, a glitter of seas./The child's cry//Melts in the wall./And I/Am the arrow,//The dew that flies/Suicidal, at one with the drive/Into the red//Eye, the cauldron of morning.

bad design, great looking film, just try not to think to much about the pot and it will be great I'm sure.

I likede the transition anim and the use of video is good, just let down by the tacky interface everywhere.

I have concluded that clients dont' necessarily go with the hype of your firm. Rather, they go with their comfort level of having you design their sites. If their friends or collegues used you, they are likely to. If not, no matter how great you may seem, you have some convincing to do. Just look at the work Big Spaceship put out. It's very homogeneous. I'm sure they are as capable of producing a site for BMW or Audi as they are for those movie sites, but the car companies won't use them. Just my 2 cents.
