I am trying to create a small swish movie for a real estate company. It is almost complete. Part of the movie involves a golf ball landing on the green. I am having a hard time figuring out how to make the ball roll in a straight line, instead of curving. Can anyone help me?
Try changing the Motion At Path option on the Move effect from Smooth to Sharp. Should help.

Post the .swi so we can take a look. If it won't fit here, post it to your server, then put a link to it here.

the path of the place actions should have bee set to sharp as well.
i played around with the file, to make the ball fall in a hole instead of fade out. an approach that needs some tweaking. in case you like it, copy the objects in the attached swi and paste them inside your file.
Thank you so much for your help. I figured it was probably something that simple. I couldn't open your file because you must most likely use Swishmax, whereas I have Swish 2.0. I did work on my ball dropping and hope it does look a little better. I am still kind of a newbie to this stuff. I haven't used it in this much detail before.
sorry, the file was saved in swishmax... here it is in swish 2 format. i put the clouds in a sprite and tweaked the move effect for a smoother transition - also the bird feels better when it's inside a sprite
