3DFA don't support transparent gif?Why?
Is possible set point on backround as button without any elements?

Not sure on the transparent GIF.

On the button question, if I understand right, you could just create a paint element that's the size you want, and with a line of width 0 (or with a colour the same as the background), and it will act as if the entire background is your button.

Hope this makes sense.

I think you may be doing something wrong, 3dfa supports transparency just fine. You might have to re-set it once you open it in the program, but other than that, I have NEVER had a problem with it, in fact you can apply a transparent color to a jpeg in 3dfa if you want(be kinda sloppy, but you can if you like).

If it's GIF animations with transparency, you'll have to re-set the transparent color on EACH frame individually once you import it, this can be a serious pain in the butt, but it works. If it's a single image, simply open up the image in 3dfa, and select transpareny, it will default to the top left pixel as the transparent color, or you can pick another color from your pallette, specify a color, set a certain pixel..................






.......as for the button, yeah. Two ways to do that off the top of my head:

1. add a completely transparent image in the elements area of the button
2.set the hot spot

starting from scratch............

1. create a GIF in your paint program
2. open 3dfa and add your GIF
3.while you GIF is still open turn the transparwncy on(see previous post)
4.set your transpanent color(see previous post)


............That's about as simple as I can say it. If you're still having problems after that, there might a compatibility issue between 3dfa and your GIF(I've never seen it happen, but I suppose it's possible).
