I think Mozilla is the whole suite, Firefox is just the browser.

...and now I have tape all over my face.
you can get both mozilla and firefox browsers and 'they' seem to be continuing to develop both.
there are quite a few differences between the way they both work. I tried mozilla and didn't like it, kept using IE, but firefox seems to have the best of both, tabbed browsing and you can go to the address bar, type in a word and press control enter to add http and .com to it. That sort of thing.
firefox is my default browser, the developer tools for it are so useful.
FireFox is also a lighter version of Mozilla - it doesn't have the e-mail client, chat client, etc., it does run faster, load faster, and has all of the security featureds and other likeable things that Mozilla does like tabbed browsing.
I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

I think Firefox is the name for what will become the marketed version, whereas Firebird was almost the code name for Firefox while it was in development. Now that the main development is nearing its end (verison 1.0 will be coming in the relatively near future), they've gone to Firefox mode.

Actually, it started as pheonix and found that there were conflicts with the name, so they changed it to firebird, but found that there were name conflicts, no they're at firefox and hopefully there are no more problems. Firebird was version 0.7 and firfox is version 0.8

Actually thats why I use it, Mozilla was cool for a while but I kept using IE, but firefox? Those 2 things aversion pointed out are the best part of it, the CTRL + Enter feature saves a lot of time and the tabs is a great help to keep the task bar uncluttered.
The dowload manager is a cool adition too, so now, FIrefox is my default browser, I only go back to IE to browse sites like Yahoo Launch.
