    Quick Text Related Question

    Hey There.

I am pulling my hair out, because I am probably overlooking something simple.

In the .fla attached my text box is fully justified; however, when I publish it, it turns to left justified.

    Any insight?

    thanks

    very weird

seems like a bug to me.

When the device font is not selected it's fine but when it's ON or when it's dynamic text it becomes left justified.

    Weird

Justify Scroll Text can be done

    Hi

I have discovered a workaround for justifying text in a scroll pane

You need to complete your text to the format you require and convert to a symbol. Then convert the text to a graphic (Cntrl-B, Cntrl-B) then group it. As it is now a graphic you use the Scroll pane component and link the symbol to the scroll pane.

In the flash file the pane will look blank but in the movie you have scrollable justified text.

    OK

    Best wishes

    text to graphic

    Hi again

An example of the justified text is on a site I am currently working on for a client at

    http://www.art-and-images.co.uk/Ever...ashsample1.htm

    Hope this solves your problem.

    Keep your hair.

    reply to your email

    Hi Sean

I take your point about using device fonts but I thought the issue with this was that the file ended up indepentant of fonts on the user machine but I may be wrong. The advantage of converting the
text to graphics is that it ends up independantof fonts on the user device.

    I will think on it.

    Best wishes
