    Question

: I'm preparing to build my site in Flash and I am receiving conflicting advice
: Should I create multiple scenes to handle the differnt elements of the site or should I create nested movie clips???
: OR should I create mulitple swf files within HTML tables???
: My main concern is file size of course and loading time.
    : What's your experience?

    Cool

I use a mixture of movie clips and loaded swf's. This gives me the most control over elements. I can call movie clips from movie clips without having to make work arounds like you do with scenes.
Scenes are nice for just that, scenes in animation. I like the use of one scene for my sites part of this comes from my use of Director and Authorware where you only have the one stage.

The choice is yours, however you feel is best for you to build is your choice. You have to meet the needs of your client’s deadlines.

My suggestion is for you to try a few of the complicated interactions using both solution types. Then you can make your own educated decision
