    Hello you funky monkey's!

    Hows life?

Anyway.... I've been using photoshop for.... well aslong as I can remember and I can make just about anything in it.

I'm now using vectors in flash and can create some fairly cool stuff, but it doesn't quite have the same edge as my photoshop stuff.

Am I crap or does it take a while to get to grips with vectors?? :¬)

I know you can import graphics to flash but it takes ages to import at any decent quality and well it just doesn't look as nice!

Ahhhhh well! Let me know what you think!

There's a book I think you, and most people, should pick up: Illustrator 8 WOW!
This book covers comprehensively how top illustrators create stunning images all in vectors. Sure, it's partial to Illustrator and makes no mention of other vector programs, but it has VERY nice examples and explainations and techniques that are actually usefull.

    Yup!

Yeah, Illustrator is a million times easier to create stuff with than flash!

I was using it before I'd even heard of Flash, mostly for DTP graphics stuff... but I still can't get over its 'square-ness'.... Vectors... they just nark me a bit I guess! :¬)

Thanks for the tip, I'll start looking for that book.
    Got an ISBN?
