there are lots of others of similar quality but amazingly not a single one leaps out my mind at this particular moment!

I love clean cut xhtml sites more than flash these days. Naturally the BBC site is listed by virtue of it being the best site on the net bar none.

My all time favo's in terms of 'flash coolness'

    #1 http://www.zombo.com (still the best! )
    #2 http://www.2advanced.com/archive/v3/
    #3 http://www.flashlevel.com/index2.html
    #4 http://www.flash4all.de/productions/OLD/derBauerII.htm
    #5 http://www.whoswestudios.com/flashsite.html

All very well know and overposted sites, so it's kinda useless to post them again, but I did it anyway...

Toplists are completely useless but always fun

    www.neostream.com
    www.widegroup.net (old one)
    www.wa007.com
    www.evb.com
    www.2advanced.com (v3)

And hell, I'm sure there're others I like more that I'm forgetting.

I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

While looking at your list of fav site, I came upon this one and have a question: what do you think they use to built that type of interface, adobe photoshop?

    http://www.whoswestudios.com/infinium/intro.html

Also, regarding neostream.com, do they use software like plasma or swift?

I would reccommend reading the Case Study at Who's We's Website for some info regarding the Phantom website. Personally, I think they used 3DS MAX and Combustion (for particle work).

If you havent heard of WA007, you live underground...that comment is gonna get me kicked
