    textarea component: unicode won't work!

i want to load external textfiles into a textarea. the textfiles are encoded in unicode, so i won't need to do the system.useCodepage. my textfiles don't display properly anyway - anyone know why?

(i've tried the system.useCodepage anyway, and it's the same result.)

solved it. it seems as if you have to use a &var= variable inside the textfile, else it doesn't display the code right (it diesplays the text though, but not with the right encoding).

    whyever
