bend text

I've searched for tutes and there probably are a few, but I don't know what to call what I am trying to do.

I've basicaly got a short bit of text and rather than having it sit flat on the surface, I want it to look as if it is text that is printed on a surface that can be bend, rolled, scruntched up etc.

Imagine text or an image being printed on a beach towel and the towel is loosely laid flat on the sand. As the sand gets walked on, the towel moves slightly and the text/image moves with the towel.

Although it would be awesome, I don't need the text/image to move, I just need it to not appear flat.

Any ideas?

You can break your text up (Ctrl.+B) and modify each letter individualy. There might be some AS that does that but I'm no Action Script expert.

yeah, breaking up the text would work, but there's potentialy a lot of it and I don't want to have to work with each letter individualy.
