    Question..

Hey, once again I turn to the wonderful flashkit forums.. I'm looking to seriously start learnign flash/as .. and would like to know any places to start.. anything to get me going or something. Even if you can tell me how you guys started off, that'd be amazing.
Also if you can tell me the names of some books that are really good for flash/as ..
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Thanks..

Flash Kit could supply help for all your Flash needs. Check the Tutorial and Movies sections, and read a lot on this board. Almost every possible question has been asked and answered here, so search first before posting ( questions about popup windows for instance, there are over 2000 postss on this ).

I started here too. Reading a lot in the Newbie section, getting ideas and trying things I found in posts. If I see something I dont quite get but think I will have some use for, I save these post in a special folder on my harddrive for later reading ( I have hundreds of nice things to check out by now ).

I only have 2 books. The Flash bibles for Flash 4 and 5 .But I seem to go here for answers anyways.

One thing about Flash, your life will never be the same again.

Yes you probably can. The site does not seem complicated, and you will probably avoid making their mistake with a site that takes to much kb. Ususally a Flash site is diveided into sections ( a swf per section so the initial load time is kept to a minimum ).

That site took 3mb to even get to the navigation. Its way too much. They probably forgot to compress the music or something.
