My very limited maths tells me that n{Ø} means n is an empty set so n(A)=n but frankly I have no idea. In fact I hate maths and now remember why I stopped studying it after school. Cool, the boss has just given me my new laptop so I'm away to play with it.

What is n(A)? The cardinality of A? If so, then n(A) = 0 because it has no elements.
n(A) = nA with no values how can you get anything but algebra...
