    widescreen resolution

I've been asked to create a looped flash movie to be shown on a 42" widescreen plasma screen at a trade show. At the moment I don't have any other specs on the hardware, other than it'll be run from a high-end PC. I'm assuming that the resolution would be 852x480, so i'll need to use this as my flash movie size. Is this correct, and are there any issues regarding screen resolution when running a presentation from PC to plasma screen (ie - I don't want it to get squashed, or letter boxed, etc)? I won't get the chance to test this on the actual HW, and it's got to be idiot-proof for the people at the conference to set up.

    Many thanks,
    Alex

    Good morning,

I just got a project that needs to be played on a plasma 42". The spec's they gave me were 1268 x 768 for movie size.

This is the first for me, so I hope this info. is correct and helps you out.

Cheers for the reply. Glad you told me that. Think I'll design for 1268 x 768 then... better to do it too big and scale down, then having to scale up.

    Thanks,
    Alex
