Need feedback, new Intro @ delpadre.com

    Hey Guys,

Just wanted to get some remarks / advice on our new intro. I know it needs some quality tweaking / optimizing.

    Thanks in advance!

    delpadre,

The site at your first link is awsome! Very dramatic. However, the first preloader froze at 50%. I was ready to leave when I noticed the skip button. I then saw your fine work (almost missed it).

The preloader seems broken, so maybe I missed the intro you are talking about. What I got to after the skip button was excellent.

Tried it again and it worked just fine this time. Don't know what happened on my first visit (I even refreshed a few times).

Saw the new intro, and it's just as cool as the rest of it. The sound, visuals, and speed are all top notch.

Are you a Group, or an individual?

    Outstanding!

    The intros really nice.
I dont care for either version of the site cause its really cluttered. you sort have to click around to find out what stuff is then once you get the hang of it. The only thing i would suggest it making it less complex, if your going for wow factor the intros good enough, focus on making the actual site content more user friendly and less complex and bloated.

Your years of experience and talent are self evidident.

Could you do me a favor and check my thread

    here

It's old art (over ten years) but some one recently volunteered music
for it, and I've been having sound troubles trying to integrate it.

    Thanks

Tullsum, your site is great, real original. I think the music will be the icing on the cake.

Towknee, I completly agree, I want to make the site more content strong, not design.

Any other suggestions would be apreciated!

    delpadre,

Hey thanks. I was actually looking for feedback on my sound issues with The Company Girl flash piece.

If you saw it already, and didn't notice any sound problems great.
If you're too busy don't worry about it.

Didn't mean to highjack your post.

    Love your work.

    -Tully

PS- I think the content navigation of you site is pretty intuitive. Don't have a problem with it. Possibly having the example links appear right beneath the section choosing button (instead of the opposite side of the screen)might stream-line it a little. Just a thought.
