    small pre loaders

    hey,

    i have created a site in html - when u first go on it, all the flash elements r white until loaded. could someone tell me how to easily implement small pre-loaders into each bit of flash?

    Just a thought .....i don't know if its dreamweaver your using...if it is make sure the cell background colour is the same as the page property background colour....i had a similar prob....

    thanks, but doesnt help with the loading?

    by the way, is it slow to load?

    does anyone no any software which independently tests websites? at different connection speeds etc?

    I dont have a problem with the speed or loading..... i'm on broadband
    so i can't judge the average wait time.....it's looking good anyway!

    No color parameters in your object & embed tags, and a faulty one in your body tag...

    < body bgcolor="#6600000"...

    do u mean in the flash elements??

    where do i put in this tag, could u show me?

    This is what i was trying to tell you earlier.....
    With the programme you are using to place your flash content in...there lies the problem....If its dreamweaver you are using then check that your main page background colour matches your
    background cell colour(.....click on your flash content and check the properties panel of the cell you have placed it in)
    P.S when you view the site ....you can also view the source code
    where these tags that oldnewbie mentioned are...click view then source and you will see your background colour < body bgcolor="#6600000"...so match the cell backgrounds with this.
