yep,the new portable playstation rocks badly =)
while we´re at it,have you already seen the new nintendo portable?
its not designed to look as stylish as the portable playstation but it has another wicked feature:
it has two screens so you can see the game in two perspectives (or have the map in one screen and the gameworld in the other or other things like that),
    here are some screens:

Yup those images are of the PSP 'Playstation Portable' due for release next year, or this year if you live in japan

Again, while on the gaming news, something a lot of people have been waiting for - the first sneak peak of GTA4:

Did you play Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask? Ocarina of Time IMO was the best game ever. It's nice to see that they're doing Zelda the way it should be done. That cell shaded crap was a little to kiddy for me. I tried playing Wind Waker but it wasn't the same. I bet we won't see this game until the first quarter of 2005. That's ok though, I still have 1080, Extreme G and F-Zero to play.

I absolutely agree with Baukereg that Links Awakening is the best. Everything is on par with OOT (apart from visuals wise), but.. Its all done on a portable, with four colours!

I love the way Nintendo isn't afraid to try new things (cough EA), and I expect when it is released there will be the usual people moaning about how it isn't Ocarina 2 or Windwaker 2, but personally I'm looking forward to all those differences. They are what keeps me buying and playing them.

Couldn't agree more, got to keep it interesting some how, just don't care for that cell shading.

    wow!

I was at E3 the other night, and saw that video at the nintendo booth, The game looked really awesome, but I was more interested in the other nintendo goodies; like the Nintendo DS! Also, the demo of Halo 2 and Doom 3 was awesome!

Wowzers... that PSP looks cool. No doubt it'll cost as much, if not more, than the PS2 itself!

As for the Nintendo DS: I've seen so many pictures of it, that all look very different (and real), that it makes hard to know whether that PSP picture is real or not

I can see StenFLASH's point of view though. Is it a co-incidence that the gap woman has got to just the same point of the game as the person with the immaculate fingernails.
I'm not saying its not real, but it looks more like a mock up of what its going to look like, than an actual product.

I dunno, I may be a little too old skool, but A Link to the Past was my favorite Legend of Zelda Game ever. The original Legend of Zelda for NES is a close 2nd. =)

I can't wait for the PSP to be released... it will make playing the original GTA so much fun on those long road trips... just as long as there's a cigarette lighter adapter included.

I haven't looked at the sony website, but I wonder if it will play PS2 games... man, I've been out of the know for too long! =)

Well, this is pretty interesting info on the PSP... I hope it will use already existing PS discs... I'd be willing to pay a lot for a portable cigarette-lighter adaptive PlayStation! =)
